Shree Mahanand Dham is a not-for-profit organization, established in 1990.  The main bases are in United Kingdom and India.

Shree Mahanand Dham is Hindu Religious Community Service based in Coventry, UK to meet the Hindu community’s growing cultural, religious and spiritual need, and to provide an avenue for spiritual growth.

MISSION

To preserve and protect the rich Hindu-Sanatan Dhrama culture and traditions passed on by our forefathers, and, for us to pass these traditions on to future generations.

Our goal is to practice, promote, and teach the Hindu Sanatan Dharma way of life.

 

HISTORY OF SHREE MAHANAND DHAM

Founded by Acharya Shree Ravi Bhushan Ji, son of Shree Mahanand Ji.  Acharya Ji was born in Jalandhar City, Punjab in India (Jalandhar is a city located 134 km northwest of the state capital, Chandigarh.

 

Acharya Ji left Jalandhar city in 1983 for Malaysia where he worked and further perused his religious studies.  Acharya Ji went back to India in 1986 where he worked with lots of Hindu scholars and engaged himself with Hinduism. Then to spread the teachings of Hindu religion and universal brotherhood he moved to England in 1990 and has been spreading the universal teachings of Hindu faith ever since then.

It is bounded on the north by Tibet, on the east by Kumaon region, on the south by Uttar Pradesh state, and on the west by Himachal Pradesh state. It includes the districts of Chamoli, Dehradun, Haridwar, Pauri Garhwal, Rudraprayag, Tehri Garhwal, and Uttarkashi. The people of Garhwal are known as Garhwali and speak Garhwali language (Devanagari). The administrative center for Garhwal division is the town of Pauri.)
